Confirms the appointment of Daniel G. Clodfelter of Mecklenburg County to the North Carolina Utilities Commission for a term beginning July 1, 2017, and expiring June 30, 2023.

Appointment fills the vacancy created by the expiration of Don M. Bailey's term on June 30, 2017.

Confirmation is required under G.S. 62-10, which mandates that gubernatorial appointments to the Utilities Commission be subject to General Assembly confirmation by joint resolution.
