Both chambers adjourn on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, and reconvene the 2017 Regular Session on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at 12:00 noon.

During the January 10, 2018 session, only specified matters may be considered including redistricting bills, constitutional amendments, gubernatorial nominations, litigation-related bills, and election law bills.

Local bills that passed third reading before adjournment may be considered if received by the other house in accordance with chamber rules and not previously disposed of.

Bills returned by the Governor for veto override, bills filling vacant positions, and conference reports for bills in conference as of June 28, 2017, are permitted for consideration.

After the January 10, 2018 session adjourns, both chambers shall reconvene for regular session on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 12:00 noon.
