Amends term appointments for members of the Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority to stagger their expiration dates and increase continuity of service.

One member appointed by majority vote of other six members serves a one-year term beginning July 1, 2020, and expiring June 30, 2021, with this initial term not counting toward the two-term limit.

One registered voter of Asheville appointed by Asheville City Council serves a three-year term beginning July 1, 2020, and expiring June 30, 2023, with this term counting toward the two-term limit.

One registered voter of Henderson County appointed by Henderson County Board of Commissioners serves a three-year term beginning July 1, 2020, and expiring June 30, 2023, with this term counting toward the two-term limit.

All existing provisions of prior legislation governing Authority member appointments continue to apply except as modified by this act; the legislation became effective upon passage on June 10, 2020.
