State Controller transfers $1,000,000 from the Coronavirus Relief Reserve to the Coronavirus Relief Fund for fiscal year 2019-2020.

$1,000,000 appropriated from the Coronavirus Relief Fund to Triangle Residential Options for Substance Abusers, Inc. (TROSA), a nonprofit corporation, through the Office of State Budget and Management.

Funds cover increased operational expenses for providing comprehensive residential substance use disorder treatment from March 1, 2020 through December 30, 2020, and any other COVID-19 related losses or expenses allowed under the CARES Act.

Appropriated funds do not revert at fiscal year end and remain available for expenditure until December 30, 2020.

TROSA must submit a report by March 1, 2021 to the House Appropriations Committee on Health and Human Services, Senate Appropriations Committee on Health and Human Services, and Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Health and Human Services detailing use of the funds.
