Division of Motor Vehicles shall waive the road test requirement for Level 2 limited provisional license applicants who meet all other requirements, effective upon enactment.

Road test waiver for Level 2 licenses expires when the Division resumes administering road tests for Level 2 limited provisional license applicants.

Level 2 limited provisional license holders who received a waiver must pass a road test to obtain a Level 3 full provisional license.

Students enrolled in classroom driver education between January 2020 and March 16, 2020 are deemed to have completed classroom instruction requirements if they completed at least 15 hours of instruction prior to March 16, 2020.

Students with fewer than 15 hours of classroom instruction may take a proficiency examination to waive the classroom instruction requirement, and all spring semester 2020 driver education students must complete a minimum of 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction before receiving a Driver Education Completion Certificate.
