State Board of Education shall award separate numerical scores (0-100 scale) and corresponding letter grades (A, B, C, D, or F) for both school achievement and school growth for each school.

School achievement score accounts for 80% and school growth score accounts for 20% of calculation, with each converted to a 100-point scale to determine two separate performance grades.

State Board shall calculate and report separate achievement and growth scores and grades for student subgroups including economically disadvantaged students, major racial and ethnic groups, children with disabilities, and English learners.

For schools serving kindergarten through eighth grade, separate achievement and growth performance grades shall be provided in reading and mathematics.

Bill applies to school performance grades and report cards issued based on data from the 2018-2019 school year forward.
