Creates Chapter 50E establishing Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs) in North Carolina to temporarily restrict firearm access for individuals posing danger to themselves or others.

Allows family or household members and law enforcement officers to petition district courts for ERPOs, with ex parte orders issued without notice if imminent danger is shown and full hearings held within 10 days.

Upon issuance of an ERPO, respondents must surrender all firearms, ammunition, and firearm permits to the sheriff within 24 hours; violations are Class A1 misdemeanors.

Full ERPOs are effective for up to one year and may be renewed; respondents may request termination by proving by preponderance of evidence they no longer pose danger.

Expands the Address Confidentiality Program to protect the addresses of ERPO petitioners from disclosure, similar to protections for domestic violence victims.
