Requires Forsyth County Board of Commissioners approval for any changes to student assignment policies in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, notwithstanding existing state law G.S. 115C-366(b).

Applies to board education policies on student assignment, neighborhood school assignments, attendance zones, Schools of Choice process, magnet school choice, and any other assignment policies based primarily on student residence.

Does not apply to individual student transfers or reassignments.

Requires proposed changes approved by the school board to be submitted to the county commissioners for concurrence before becoming effective.

Voids any student assignment changes made on or after March 28, 2019 by the school board unless subsequently submitted to and approved by the county commissioners.
