Removes the requirement that physical therapists obtain a physician prescription before performing spinal manipulation in North Carolina

Explicitly excludes the practice of chiropractic from the definition of physical therapy as defined in G.S. 90-143

Maintains existing prohibitions on physical therapists performing roentgen rays, radioactive materials, surgery, and medical diagnosis of disease

Becomes effective October 1, 2019
