Directs the State Board of Education to modify state graduation requirements to include one required credit in arts education for all high school students.

Arts education credit must be completed at any time in grades six through 12.

Implementation begins with students entering sixth grade in 2022.

Exempts students transferring to North Carolina public schools in ninth grade or later if the requirement would prevent them from graduating with their assigned cohort.

State Board must establish implementation procedures, minimum criteria for the requirement, and report to the Joint Legislative Education Oversight Committee by December 15, 2022.
