Permits concealed handgun permit holders to carry handguns on nonpublic school property that houses both a school and place of religious worship, but only outside school operating hours and if property owners have not posted prohibitory notices; effective December 1, 2020.

Changes concealed handgun permit renewal requirements so sheriffs must waive firearms safety training if applicant renews within 60 days after expiration, or within 180 days if applicant completes an approved refresher course on firearms laws; effective October 1, 2020.

Allows designated non-sworn law enforcement agency employees to carry concealed handguns in law enforcement facilities if written designation is provided by agency head and not rescinded; effective July 1, 2020.

Permits emergency medical services personnel to carry concealed weapons while on duty and deployed for tactical medical assistance to law enforcement if they complete an approved tactical medical assistance course covering firearms safety, deadly force laws, and weapons training; effective December 1, 2020.
