State Board of Education shall reclassify 10 Transportation Director positions (I-X) into three new classifications: Assistant Director–Transportation, Transportation Director, Senior Director–Transportation, and Executive Director–Transportation.

State Board of Education shall establish nine additional transportation personnel position classifications: Cost Clerk/Inventory Specialist I and II, TIMS Data Manager I and II, TIMS Coordinator, Receptionist/Office Support I and II, Transportation Mech. Supv. II, and Transportation Coordinator.

Department of Public Instruction shall survey local school administrative units by November 15, 2019 on the economic impact of potential salary grade and range revisions, calculating total costs while holding harmless any employees who would receive pay reductions.

Department of Public Instruction shall compile survey results and report total costs of salary revisions to the State Board of Education, Joint Legislative Education Oversight Committee, and Fiscal Research Division by February 15, 2020.

Act becomes effective July 1, 2019.
