Appropriates $2,680,000 for fiscal year 2019-2020 and $3,360,000 for fiscal year 2020-2021 to the Department of Public Safety for salary increases for State Bureau of Investigation agents and Alcohol Law Enforcement officers.

Grants eligible law enforcement officers a 2.5% legislative salary increase effective July 1, 2019, and an additional 2.5% increase effective July 1, 2020, for those employed in state-funded positions on June 30, 2019.

Establishes an experience-based pay schedule with entry-level salaries of $45,100 (2019-2020) and $46,228 (2020-2021), progressing to $65,807 over six years with 6.5% annual increases; officers on this schedule are ineligible for the 2.5% legislative increases.

Awards eligible law enforcement officers a one-time credit of five additional days of annual leave on July 1, 2019, which cannot be cashed out and is forfeited if unused at separation or retirement.

Becomes effective July 1, 2019.
