Designates the primary election date (Tuesday after the first Monday in March of even-numbered years) as a paid holiday for all public school personnel, students, and state employees.

Designates the general election date (Tuesday after the first Monday in November of even-numbered years) as a paid holiday for all public school personnel, students, and state employees.

Allows the State Human Resources Commission to provide 14 paid holidays in even-numbered years instead of the standard 12, with the two additional holidays being for primary and general elections.

Renames Veterans Day as "Veterans' History Awareness Month" in November for public schools while maintaining it as a paid holiday.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
