Any citizen may remove and dispose of political signs remaining in state highway rights-of-way more than 30 days after the designated removal period ends without penalty.

Cities may enact ordinances allowing citizens to remove political signs from municipal street rights-of-way more than 30 days after the ordinance's prescribed removal period.

County boards of elections must permit candidates at least 36 hours before voting place opening and at least 36 hours after closing to place and retrieve political advertising; advertising placed outside these windows may be removed by the property owner.

Property owners must agree to provide candidates at least 36 hours before and after voting place hours to place and retrieve political advertising when county boards secure agreements for voting locations.

The State Board of Elections Executive Director may reduce the canvass period for the 2019 election only with at least two weeks' notice to ensure orderly elections.
