Requires charter schools to develop and include plans for providing transportation and food services in their charter applications submitted on or after July 1, 2019

Mandates charter schools provide transportation for any enrolled student residing in the local school administrative unit where the school is located, with exemption for students living within one and one-half miles of the school

Allows local school boards to contract with charter schools to provide transportation at a reasonable cost, with the option to refuse if no bus capacity is available or transportation is not practically feasible

Requires charter schools to provide food services for all enrolled students and mandates participation in the National School Lunch Program

Transportation and food service requirements (Sections 2 and 3) become effective July 1, 2020
