Authorizes nonprofit organizations exempt from federal taxation under IRC sections 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), 501(c)(5), or 501(c)(6) that have existed for at least 5 years to conduct "game nights" where games of chance are played and prizes awarded by raffle for fundraising purposes.

Requires a $100 permit from the Alcohol Law Enforcement Branch submitted at least 30 days in advance; organizations limited to four events per year, each not exceeding 5 hours, with no more than one event per calendar quarter and no more than two events per building per week.

Permits only roulette, blackjack, poker, craps, simulated horse races, merchandise wheel of fortune, and other games approved by Alcohol Law Enforcement; prohibits cash prizes and requires prizes awarded through raffle only.

Allows employers with 25+ employees and trade associations with 25+ members to hold free game night events for employees/members and guests at qualified facilities (those with on-premises alcohol permits) under the same operational restrictions.

Applies only to areas of North Carolina east of I-26 as located on November 28, 2011; violations constitute Class 2 misdemeanor with one-year prohibition from conducting game nights; becomes effective May 1, 2019.
