Allows judicial officials to impose stricter pretrial release conditions on defendants who have previously failed to appear (FTA) in court for the same charges.

Requires judges to impose at minimum the conditions recommended in the most recent arrest order for an FTA, or if none were recommended, require a secured appearance bond of at least double the previous bond amount or $1,000 minimum.

Mandates judges impose travel, association, conduct, and residence restrictions on repeat FTA defendants to prevent future failures to appear.

Requires judges to document on release orders when a defendant was arrested or surrendered after an FTA and when there have been two or more prior FTA incidents.

Takes effect December 1, 2021 and applies to all pretrial release conditions imposed on or after that date.
