Directs the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health, to conduct a comprehensive study on polycystic ovary syndrome and its impact on women in North Carolina

Study must examine the number of diagnosed cases over the past five years, misdiagnosis/underdiagnosis rates, causes and cures, effectiveness and affordability of therapies, and whether the condition disproportionately affects particular populations

Requires DPH to report findings and any proposed legislation to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Health and Human Services by December 1, 2023

Mandates DPH to design, coordinate, and oversee a statewide public awareness campaign providing medically accurate information about the condition and study findings

Appropriates $150,000 in nonrecurring funds for the 2022-2023 fiscal year to support the study and public awareness campaign; effective July 1, 2022
