Appropriates $5,000,000 in recurring General Fund money to the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Family and Child Well-Being to establish a Youth Sports Scholarship Program.

Makes scholarships available to families with total income at or below 200% of the current federal poverty level, with a maximum award of $1,000 per household.

Permits scholarship funds to be used for purchasing sports equipment, paying costs and fees for youth sports lessons, camps, leagues, and other sports activities, and other Division-approved related expenses.

Allows the Division to use up to 5% of appropriated funds for administrative purposes.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
