North Carolina legislature applies to Congress under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a limited convention for proposing a constitutional amendment imposing term limits on U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate members

Secretary of State directed to transmit copies of the application to federal leadership including the President, congressional leadership, all members of Congress from North Carolina, and presiding officers of all state legislatures

Application covers only congressional term limits and shall be aggregated with other states' applications on the same subject to reach the two-thirds threshold required under Article V, but shall not be combined with applications on other subjects

Application constitutes a continuing request that remains in effect until legislatures of at least two-thirds of the states submit applications on the same subject matter

Resolution becomes effective upon ratification
