Modifies membership requirements for the Burgaw Tourism Development Authority by reducing the minimum number of members affiliated with tax-collecting businesses from one-third to one member (if Authority has five or fewer members) or one-third (if larger).

Maintains the requirement that at least one-half of Authority members must be individuals actively engaged in promoting travel and tourism in the town.

Allows the Town of Surf City to use proceeds from on-street parking meters the same way it uses proceeds from off-street parking facilities under G.S. 160A-301(b).

Applies the Surf City parking provision only to that municipality.

Effective upon becoming law, ratified June 17, 2021.
