Moves the earliest school opening date from the Monday closest to August 26 to the Monday closest to August 11 for Craven County Schools.

Allows Craven County Schools to administer fall semester assessments and final exams prior to December 31, rather than requiring them within the final instructional days of the semester.

Modifies the "good cause" definition for opening date waivers to reference school calendars' ability to provide sufficient makeup days due to school closings.

Applies only to Craven County Schools for the 2021-2022 school year and expires at the conclusion of that year.
