Prohibits health insurers from imposing higher copayments for chiropractic services than for comparable medically necessary treatment provided by licensed primary care physicians, physician assistants, or nurse practitioners

Requires that any treatment limitations or coverage restrictions applied to chiropractic care must also be applied to services provided by other licensed physicians, physician assistants, or nurse practitioners

Applies to health benefit plans issued, renewed, or amended on or after October 1, 2021

Covers insurers and health maintenance organizations governed by Articles 1 through 67 of North Carolina's insurance code

Defines covered services to those provided by duly licensed chiropractors acting within the scope of practice defined in G.S. 90-151
