House Bill 334 - Budget Technical Corrections

• Corrects and updates appropriation figures in the Current Operations budget for state departments, including adjustments to General Fund requirements and receipts for education, health and human services, and other agencies for fiscal years 2021-2023.

• Modifies various program deadlines and requirements including agricultural crop loss deadlines extended to May 1, 2022, rural tourism pilot program start date moved to March 1, 2022, and audit reporting dates for school attendance and truancy analysis.

• Makes personnel and infrastructure adjustments including flexibility for state agencies to substitute eliminated vacant positions, changes to adult care home infection prevention policies, and modifications to salary increase bonus eligibility dates for state employees.

• Adjusts capital project allocations through the State Capital and Infrastructure Fund with modifications to specific project authorizations, grant allocations to local governments and entities, and reductions or reallocations of funding amounts across multiple initiatives.

• Provides technical corrections and clarifications to various state laws and programs related to corrections, education, healthcare, transportation, broadband expansion, and other state operations.
