Allows valid concealed handgun permit holders to carry handguns on educational property that serves as both a school and place of religious worship, but only outside school operating hours and if no prohibition notice is posted.

Defines "school operating hours" as times when premises are used for curricular, extracurricular, educational, instructional, school-sponsored activities, or programs for minors by non-affiliated entities; effective December 1, 2021.

Permits concealed handgun permit renewal without firearms safety training if applicant renews within 60 days of expiration, or within 180 days if applicant completes a certified refresher course on firearms laws; effective October 1, 2021.

Allows non-sworn law enforcement agency employees designated in writing by their agency head to carry concealed handguns in law enforcement facilities; effective July 1, 2021.

Permits emergency medical services personnel on duty providing tactical medical assistance during SWAT operations to carry concealed weapons if they complete an approved tactical medical assistance course; effective December 1, 2021; applies only to Iredell, Lenoir, Beaufort, Craven, Pender, Columbus, Lincoln, and Yadkin counties.
