Amends G.S. 20-130.1(c) to authorize blue lights on publicly owned automotive fire apparatus, in addition to law enforcement vehicles.

Blue lights on fire apparatus shall only be visible from the rear when the parking brake is engaged and on-scene lights are activated.

Defines "automotive fire apparatus" to include pumper, mobile foam, initial attack, quint, tanker, and aerial fire apparatus as defined in the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1901 standard.

Defines "blue light" as any blue light installed after vehicle manufacture or an operable blue light designed for emergency vehicles that can be powered by the vehicle's battery, electrical system, or a dry cell battery.

Becomes effective December 1, 2021.
