Appropriates $1,000,000 in recurring General Fund dollars to the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse Services for fiscal year 2021-2022.

Appropriates an additional $1,000,000 in recurring General Fund dollars for fiscal year 2022-2023.

Funds support the North Carolina Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Council established under Part 33 of Article 3 of Chapter 143B of the General Statutes.

Requires use of a portion of appropriated funds to establish a new part-time position within DMH to assist the Council with its operations.

Effective date is July 1, 2021.
