Appropriates $3,000,000 for fiscal year 2021-2022 and $2,000,000 for fiscal year 2022-2023 from the General Fund to Senior Services, Inc., a nonprofit organization in Forsyth County.

Funds designated for building a new and expanded Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Center to serve older adults living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

New facility will function as an intergenerational center for arts and wellness integrating health care, wellness programs, arts-based activities, and intergenerational interaction under one roof.

Center will partner with multiple organizations including Novant Health, Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Second Harvest Food Bank, Winston-Salem State University, The Sawtooth School for Visual Art, and other community partners.

Act becomes effective July 1, 2021, with all funds designated as nonrecurring.
