• Sales representative applicants may engage in activities while their application is pending if actively supervised by a licensed dealer, have not been previously denied a license on non-procedural grounds, and have not been convicted of a felony.

• Division may assess civil penalties up to $1,000 against licensed dealers or applicants and up to $5,000 against unlicensed persons violating motor vehicle dealer laws.

• Dealer registration plates must be replaced every three years, and surviving spouses of military service members may renew special registration plates without remarriage.

• Lenders, motor vehicle dealers, and federally insured depository institutions may obtain color images of borrowers' drivers licenses for ordinary business purposes.

• License renewal grace period extends 30 days after expiration, and Division must send temporary license to applicant; effective date of license revocations extended from tenth to thirtieth calendar day after mailing.
