Directs the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Justice and Public Safety to study traffic stop data reporting under G.S. 143B-903

Requires analysis of how the Department of Public Safety collects, stores, correlates, and maintains traffic law enforcement information and whether it shares data with other agencies

Requires examination of whether anonymous identification numbers for officers should be included in stop reports and analysis of whether such numbers would remain anonymous under public records laws

Directs comparative analysis of how other states collect and maintain traffic law enforcement data and identification of best practices

Committee must report findings and any proposed legislation to the 2022 Regular Session of the General Assembly
