Department of Public Safety, Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice authorized to hire up to 183 full-time equivalent positions to operate the program

Program will use inmate labor to pick up trash throughout North Carolina, modeled on a former Inmate Litter Crews Program

Act becomes effective July 1, 2021
