Net proceeds from the sale of approximately 7.3 acres of state property adjacent to the Broughton legacy campus in Burke County shall be transferred to the State Capital and Infrastructure Fund, up to a maximum of $1,600,000.

$1,600,000 is appropriated from the State Capital and Infrastructure Fund to the Office of State Budget and Management for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.

Appropriated funds shall be used for construction, repairs, and renovations of maintenance facilities to replace facilities previously located on the Broughton legacy campus.

The act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
