Employers must report to the Division of Employment Security when they offer employment to an unemployment insurance claimant during required work search activities and the claimant refuses the offer.

The Division shall establish procedures and processes for employers to report offers of employment.

The Division must conduct ongoing reviews to ensure that claimants who refuse offers of suitable work are disqualified under G.S. 96-14.11.

Beginning September 1, 2021, and quarterly thereafter, the Division must report to the Joint Legislative Oversight Commission on Unemployment Insurance on enforcement and administrative steps taken under this section.
