Appropriates $1,000,000 in nonrecurring funds annually to Guilford County for fiscal years 2021-2022 through 2026-2027 to build and improve an integrated data analytics system for early childhood development programs and the Get Ready Guilford Initiative

Appropriates $808,000 in nonrecurring funds for fiscal year 2021-2022 to Ready for School, Ready for Life (Organization) to establish a three-year pilot program improving quality of care and education for infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children in Guilford County

Pilot program shall operate in eight early care and education centers in Guilford County based on Model Work Standards for Early Childhood programs developed by the Center for the Study of Child Care Employment at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro

Center for the Study of Child Care Employment shall provide leadership, resources, selection criteria, assessments, coaching, evaluation, and replication assistance to participating centers, teachers, administrators, and families to establish best practices replicable statewide

Organization must submit annual reports to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Health and Human Services by December 31st detailing outcomes for students, educators, and families in the pilot program

Act becomes effective July 1, 2021
