Recodifies G.S. 160A-394 as G.S. 160D-917 to establish zoning regulations for residential vacation rentals and transient occupancies in the Town of Cornelius

Authorizes the Town of Cornelius to regulate vacation rentals through required permitting, zoning district prohibitions, occupancy and vehicle limits, signage requirements, and financial reporting

Defines vacation rental or transient occupancy as temporary occupancy of less than 90 days, excluding up to three weeks per calendar year of short-term occupancy by property owners

Applies exclusively to the Town of Cornelius and expires on December 31, 2031

Preserves all ordinances previously adopted under the city's general police powers or zoning authority prior to enactment
