State Board of Transportation Audit Committee must include Department of Transportation Office of Inspector General audit reports and pending reports with completion dates as a dashboard item at each monthly meeting.

State Board of Transportation Audit Committee must submit a report to the Joint Legislative Transportation Oversight Committee and Fiscal Research Division by July 30, 2021 on implementation of audit reporting requirements.

Council of Internal Auditing, in collaboration with the Office of the State Auditor and Program Evaluation Division, must establish minimum performance standards for all state agency internal audit units.

Council of Internal Auditing must periodically examine internal auditing reports and annual plans for compliance with performance standards, review external quality assurance reviews, hold hearings on deficiencies, and monitor corrective actions.

Council of Internal Auditing must submit a report to the Joint Legislative Program Evaluation Oversight Committee by July 30, 2021 on implementation of the performance standards requirements.
