Authorizes the Tryon Palace Commission to use third-party online ticket sale services for admission and special event tickets, with funds credited to the Tryon Palace Historic Sites and Gardens Fund.

Expands the Commission's authority to manage restoration, supervision, management, and maintenance of the Tryon Palace complex, its real estate, and collections.

Clarifies the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources may hire necessary personnel to maintain the Tryon Palace complex and that the Executive Director shall be selected by the Department Secretary from candidates recruited and approved by the Commission.

Appropriates $100,000 from the General Fund to the Tryon Palace Commission for initial third-party ticket contractor fees and to promote online ticket sales.

Becomes effective July 1, 2021.
