State Board of Education must survey public schools to identify buildings lacking carbon monoxide alarm and detection systems, and report the number of affected buildings and estimated installation costs by December 15, 2021.

Private and nonpublic schools may administer nationally standardized tests measuring verbal and quantitative competencies for ninth grade instead of being limited to tests measuring English grammar, reading, spelling, and mathematics.

Scholarship-funded nonpublic school students in grades nine through twelve may take tests measuring verbal and quantitative competencies as an alternative to traditional academic subject tests.

Municipalities must provide water and sewer services to charter school properties upon written request if the municipality has available capacity and the property owner agrees to utility extension agreements and pays all extension costs.

Charter property owners seeking water and sewer services outside municipal limits may petition for annexation, which municipalities must grant if the property meets annexation eligibility requirements.
