Appropriates $250,000 in nonrecurring funds for the 2021-2022 fiscal year to the Orange Street School Restoration and Historical Association, Inc. for renovation of the 1915 historic Orange Street School building in Fayetteville, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is Fayetteville's oldest surviving educational building.

Appropriates $150,000 in nonrecurring funds for the 2021-2022 fiscal year to the Umoja Group, Inc. to digitalize and preserve the African American pictorial wall.

Designated funds support the Orange Street neighborhood development and retention of African American history in the Murchison Road corridor for future generations.

Becomes effective July 1, 2021.
