State Board of Education must require all curriculum, professional development, and teaching standards to reflect balanced political viewpoints, with equal weight given to both major U.S. political parties when one party's viewpoint is presented in classroom materials, assignments, or lectures.

State Board of Education must adopt rules and policies to implement balanced political viewpoint requirements by January 1, 2022, and report compliance to the Joint Legislative Education Oversight Committee by November 15, 2021.

Schools must prominently display information about instructional materials used during the prior school year on their websites by July 1 of each year, organized by subject area and grade level, including titles, authors, and organizations associated with each material.

Schools with fewer than 500 students cumulatively are exempt from the instructional materials disclosure requirement.

Requirements apply to local school administrative units, innovative schools, regional schools, schools under Article 9C, and laboratory schools, with the act effective upon passage and applying to instructional materials from the 2021-2022 school year forward.
