Increases cumulative counseling services limit from $3,000 to $45,000 per family for immediate family members of child victims of rape, sexual assault, or domestic violence, and for family and grief counseling of immediate family members of homicide victims

Increases funeral and burial expense limit from $5,000 to $8,000, including transportation of body but excluding flowers, gravestones, and other non-essential items

Appropriates $500,000 in nonrecurring General Fund money to the Crime Victims Compensation Fund in the Department of Public Safety for fiscal year 2022-2023

Changes effective dates: Section 1 becomes effective upon enactment and applies to awards made after that date; Section 2 becomes effective July 1, 2022
