Removes the Davidson County Airport from the corporate limits of the City of Lexington, effective June 30, 2022, with property no longer subject to municipal taxes for taxable years beginning July 1, 2022

Describes seven tracts of property comprising approximately 340 acres total being removed from city jurisdiction, including the main airport property (332.28 acres) and surrounding parcels

Preserves the City of Lexington's existing tax liens and allows collection or foreclosure on outstanding ad valorem taxes and special assessments as if property remained within city limits

Requires the Davidson County Airport Authority to purchase the fire station building and equipment located at 285 Hargrave Road, Lexington, for $2,000,000, with the sale to be completed by December 31, 2022

Act ratified July 1, 2022, becoming effective upon enactment
