Increase Medicaid rates paid to physicians, physician assistants, certified nurse practitioners, specialty medical health care providers, and dental care providers to match 2023 Medicare rates, effective as soon as practicable after July 1, 2024.

Appropriate $395,000,000 in recurring state funds for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, which will be matched with $736,000,000 in recurring federal funds.

Allocate $275,000,000 in state funds ($512,000,000 federal match) for physicians, physician assistants, and certified nurse practitioners.

Allocate $75,000,000 in state funds ($140,000,000 federal match) for specialty medical health care providers and $45,000,000 in state funds ($84,000,000 federal match) for dental care providers.

Rate increases are not required to be maintained after the end of the 2024-2025 fiscal year and the bill becomes effective July 1, 2024.
