Requires public school units to post all lesson plans online no later than 10 days after instruction, organized by subject area and grade level on school websites.

Mandates lesson plans include names of instructional and supplemental materials with electronic links, other course materials by title with authors/organizations, and brief descriptors with links or information on how to request in-person review.

Schools must post procedures for documentation, review, and approval of lesson plans; procedures for requesting in-person review of materials not publicly available; and a list of teacher and staff training materials used during the school year.

Public access to posted materials must be maintained for two calendar years; schools with fewer than 30 students cumulatively are exempt from compliance.

Applies same transparency requirements to the North Carolina School of the Arts and the School of Science and Mathematics; appropriates $10,000 in recurring funds to the Department of Public Instruction for oversight and enforcement beginning in the 2024-2025 school year.
