Extends the compliance period for drivers subject to ignition interlock system requirements by 90 days if they commit a violation during the final 90 days of their initial compliance period.

Applies to both limited driving privileges (G.S. 20-179.3) and drivers license restorations (G.S. 20-17.8) for individuals convicted of impaired driving with high alcohol concentrations.

Defines "ignition interlock system violation" to include violations of interlock restrictions, violations of G.S. 20-17.8A, or violations of Division rules for interlock system use.

Appropriates $50,000 in nonrecurring funds to the Division of Motor Vehicles for the 2024-2025 fiscal year to implement the bill's provisions.

Becomes effective July 1, 2024, and applies to limited driving privileges and revoked licenses issued on or after that date.
