DHSR shall establish a quality dashboard and post monthly data on mental health, intellectual/developmental disability, and substance use facility licenses, violations, citations, suspensions, revocations, and monetary penalties beginning January 31, 2024.

DHSR shall post quarterly data on compliance with the 15 working day requirement for sending violation reports to facilities, informal appeals, contested cases filed, and outcomes of contested cases.

DHSR shall establish a workgroup with providers to address concerns regarding rules of engagement and standard operating procedures.

DHSR shall provide annual training to providers and align its review processes to accept documentation from electronic health records in both printed and electronic formats.

The Mental Health Commission shall adopt or amend rules necessary to implement the act, which becomes effective October 1, 2023.
