Amends G.S. 160A-347 to allow cities to expand the use of perpetual care trust funds created specifically to accept cemetery transfers from regulated cemetery companies.

Permits cities to use both principal and income from these trust funds for perpetual care, beautification, and expansion of the transferred cemetery, rather than only income as previously allowed.

Maintains existing restrictions that perpetual care trust funds remain separate from other city funds and cannot be appropriated or lent for other purposes.

Applies only to trust funds created solely for accepting cemeteries and perpetual care funds from cemetery companies regulated by the North Carolina Cemetery Commission.

Effective upon becoming law.
