Exempts nationally certified reflexologists holding current certification from the American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB) or its successor from oversight by the North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy.

Allows reflexology students working toward ARCB certification to practice under the supervision of an ARCB-certified reflexologist, provided they obtain certification within 12 months of beginning the certification process.

Defines reflexology as manual techniques including thumb- and finger-walking, hook and backup, and rotating-on-a-point applied to reflex areas predominantly on the feet and hands to stimulate neural pathways and support optimal body function.

Becomes effective October 1, 2023.
