Requires home appliance manufacturers to honor express or implied fix-or-replace warranties within 45 days if an appliance is defective and cannot serve its intended purpose.

Manufacturers must respond to warranty claims by tendering one of three options: the repaired appliance, a replacement appliance, or a detailed written explanation of why the damage is not covered by warranty.

Renames Article 43 of Chapter 66 of the General Statutes from "Service Agreements" to "Service Agreements and Warranties."

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law and applies only to home appliance purchases made on or after the effective date.
